Carlos Torres-Muro was born in the town of Chiclayo, in the Republic of Peru in December of 1943. At age 5, Carlos and his family moved to his nation's capitol city, Lima, where he grew up and completed his education through high school. After completing these studies Carlos won a scholarship for postgraduate study at St. Paul University in Geneva, Switzerland.
With his training in electronics, Carlos was able to get work very easily but wanted to also travel and experience life in other countries. Carlos has traveled to Europe, he has lived in Mexico and Montreal, Canada and has gained communication skills in five languages.
Carlos became a believer in Jesus Christ over 30 years ago while living in the Federal District of Mexico and continues to grow in his faith.
After meeting his wife at a Christian Convention of the Assemblies of God of Peru, Carlos was married to Clara Elizabeth Rospigliosi on December 29, 2007. From a previous marriage, Carlos has an 8 year old son who lives in Peru with its mother and an adult daughter who is married and lives in Italy.
Carlos began working for WFGC Television and the Christian Television Network in March of 1995 as a Master Control Operator. Because of his previous training and work experience in the field of electronics, Carlos has been able to serve the ministry of WFGC Television in his current position as Maintenance Engineer.
When Carlos is not fixing broken electronic devices at WFGC, he enjoys his hobby of rebuilding and repairing computers, fixing toys and other electronic gadgets. He also enjoys cooking, reading and listening to music.
